Haven’t posted much over the years so I figured I’d do better and start being active on here to network with my fellow builders more. I got heroes workshop (stefano/stealth) templates and I’ve used a couple of moesizzlac files and the helmet was originally a sonner file but I sculpted over it with epoxy to change a lot. Here’s what I have so far. Chest is all foam

This build looks great!
I already ordered one of your neck seals, but I'm curious, is latex casting a reasonable thing to get into, or is it expensive and difficult?

latex is very affordable. and easy to work with, messy as all hell but pretty easy. the molds typically have to be in something porous like stone so that can get tricky and heavy.

I saw that neck seal thanks to RandomRanger on Etsy. It is super tempting to pick one up. Just need to figure out if I could make it work for a 16" neck vs. the 18" you said.
so its very easy to cut up. like a fabric. i made it fit a 15 inch neck today but i basically had to cut out the entire back section. so i cut like 3-4 inches out and then just use adhesive velcro in the backs of each side then the opposing side to connect them. you could also sew some stretch fabric to it. It still looks fine without the back section and honestly no one ever really sees that part and half of it is up in the helmet anyway.

Small update but I printed one of moesizzlac buckles out for the top part of the chest. And I cut it up with a hot knife to drop the front section down and then sculpted over it with epoxieculpt to add layered details I saw on closeups of the suit. Gonna mold it and cast up another one for the other side

Amazing work! I wonder how much and what thicknesses of foam you used, roughly? Planning to try this same build.
so far its one pack of the garage floor mats from harbor freight. 1/2 inch i think? cheapest foam there is i believe. $8.99 for four sheets. and some sales they are 5.99
