I'm sure anyone who would be willing to do it would take into consideration all the risk factors to themselves and their armor before trying it. At least I hope they would...well just in case...

Depending on what type of suit, if someone has a thick molded suit where the plastic/reinforcment is very thick, I doubt it would break if they fell, though their paint job might get trashed because of the ice and such.
