Finally fixed the transmission and did the initial installation.

Need to buy a few more brackets, with only one it wobbles quite a bit!

Awesome, I was wondering if anyone else was trying to build a mech, I was trying to get better reference pictures after halo war 2 with the mech suits. keeps us up to date.

Bit more work today:
Bowden cables are now easily removable so they don't have to get exposed to the weather constantly:

Found this for free on the side of the road on my way to work. The joys of driving a van lol

Arm (sans control cables) installed outside:

Found some great hand protective gear, coordinates well with the rest of my suit.

Free pinball machine?? Yes please!
Great find man

Looks like the reason they got rid of it was cuz the balls have a tendency to get stuck under the plunger. Have to get an ac adapter to make sure it still works but hey free!
Last year I got a $150 gas weed Wacker for free that just needed a $15 part. When I have luck I have good luck.

Bit more updates:
Rigged bungees so the arm easily lifts and can be given more assistance as necessary

Arm is actually angled forward inside the torso so there's a bit more PVC inside D:

Give them an MA-5 'by accident' instead, then challenge them all in an epic "405th vs 501st fight to the death"!!!

My money's on our Canadian regiment, followed closely by our mountain reg. (We've got the spirit and know-how, but Canada has the numbers.)

And as a side note, yeah, that jaw looks good. Was going to be funny, but then I noticed how you've built parts from cardboard, and at first glance I thought it was 3D printed, so good work!

Holy cow, yeah I totally thought those were 3d printed until you said something.

Yeah, that's the old prototype head for MARDUK. I'm having a bit of trouble removing some bits on the official metal head so I can attach that jaw.

I'm having some serious flashbacks to titanfall looking at the head. Even though it isnt acurate, I cant get BT out of my head... BT :(

You think we have the numbers, in reality each of us fights with the strength of 10.

Also make them a DC-17m instead, it's way cooler than a DC-15.
