Just remember the tin man in the wizard of oz died from aluminum powder painted onto his skin.

Also, if you have pure gold or aluminum painted onto your skin, your blood pressure increases and your body temperature increases. Very bad for your health.

Aww, ok. This may seem like a stupid question, but is there any way to give the feel of metal without having to actually form a sheet of metal to go on the outside of the armor? Like some weird spray or paint on stuff?
