Hey there- ive not been posting for a while but i finally got some good photos of my finished armour to share. Was gonna upload them to my old topic but its been locked for some reason...



Anyway- if no one minds the double topic, heres some pics of the finshed article. I finished it in time for halloween 2009 but only got the good weather to photo it outside there today! The gun is just a NERF type jobby painted black!

dont mind me saying though, the green looks.... too green? What did you use?

it was car paint for the base coat. maybe brilliant green or fantastic green? somthing like that?! i was thinkin maybe goin for a more olive camo type colour but i still like this bright green too, even if it does look more toy-ish...

not to derail your thread mate - but I found this humbro rattle can colour which I like

I too used a brighter green for my helmet build

It worked for a while - then I just wanted a mroe olive-y colour



only just noticed - it was completed for halloween LAST year

any reason to put a costume on hey ;P
