Mjolnir MKIV Build

As my 6 year old reach suit is in no condition to be worn anymore I needed a new spartan suit. I always loved the powerful buff design of the MKIV suits and I already had a cast of MkIV helmet (Dutch Props) sitting on a shelf to the choice was easy.
Luckily I found some files in the armory that I could convert for foam use (will upload them eventually) so I started building.
So far I made the shoulder parts, bicep parts and yesterday I finished the chest foam build:

I think the fit is perfect, doesn't restrict movement too much so far:

I really hope to get this done in time for the first con after covid :)

Thanks FANGS
Sooo I finally managed to get back to working on this thing. We moved, got a dog and other stuff so the armor had to be put on pause for a while sadly.
Now I have fresh energy and a fresh deadline, about a month away (I know thats kind of crazy).

First I started with the boots for which I made my own patterns as there are no unfolds or models for the halo wars 1 armor.

Really happy with how they turned out, might add a bit more detail later. Of course I will share the templates I made, hope they are not too confusing... those should fit a EU size 44 and are scanned on A4 paper

Those look amazing! I can't wait to see more progress and looking forward to see that beautiful mk4 all finished in the future.
Your foam pieces are so nice and clean, Tobi.

This week I made the thighs. I think they are scaled a bit too small but they have a ton of detail so I need to work with them for now for time reasons. I still like how they look, it was a pain to cut all those small detail parts but totally worth it in the end.

Test fit for the legs so far:

Next up is the waist, after that the gauntlets and then the basic foamwork is done.

Looks great and it doesn't look like you made the belt wider at all.
I get amazed by your foam building quality every time you post an update and even more impressed that you build it so fast.
When you started building shins I was starting to build mine. I though it's cool. Then you posted next update that you've already finished them and already did thighs too. All that while I was still putting first shin together. Oh the anxiety.
Amazing job and looking forward to see this beauty finished.
