Damn this is looking good!
this looks amazing!
Damn I never realized how big that kind of build volume looks, but seeing the entire thigh in one print is amazing! The armor is looking great and i am totally going to look at your images when I am painting up mine.
edit - also totally jealous of not having to have an enclosure for your printer. I just ordered my first roll of ABS to play around with.
ABS is a game changer once you can get good prints. For smaller parts, acetone smoothing will make your prints look like they were cast. It’s very easy to sand and at 1.2mm walls, it’s very strong.
It’s 3D printed from TPU flexible filament. Definitely make sure it’s completely dry before you print with it and you will get better results. You can bake it to dry it out.WOW! Man this is a super great job on this armor, how did you do your abs parts is it foam or what just curious.. still super job man i hope mine comes out that good
Ooo what is the IG - another one to followAmazing job, been watching this process on instagram. you did a great job.
