Modder caught, need help. Please read!

Ok so the story goes like this: Me and my brother decided to play some MW2 Barebones Pro and got dropped into a match with 3 lvl 70 10th's that were together. This kinda gave me a red flag right off because I normally don't trust anyone who's 10th lvl 70, well after the first match is over they start talking a ton of trash after we accused them of being rocket tards. Next match is team death and my brother drops out so he doesn't have to deal with them but I stay to fight the good fight. That match I have double their leaders score but my teammates all are low lvl and die horribly (we lose btw).

(heres the good part)

Next match is FFA and I'm extremly pissed off because the guy insulted the hell out of me and muted me and would unmute to rub it in my face. Were playing Invasion and on this map I know every single spawn so the balance is on my side and to make matters better I decide to use my best and favorite gun in the game the FAL. First off no I do not have a mod and I can give video proof of such showing me fire my semi-auto AK faster than you would believe. To continue I am destroying them and the guy who was talking trash is in second below me by 6 kills. Not even 5 seconds after I kill a guy to be at 29 kills I am kicked from the match (huh thats a little fishy).

I decide to follow the guy and see if it would happen again. A few minutes later I am able to join in with him and his buddies (on their team for the first match unfortunately) and after that match he unmutes and remarks about me following him and they all back out. I follow them once again and it's FFA on Sub Base, they don't notice me until I kill the modder in question 3 times. Well he gets all angry and makes a bunch of remarks about me having no life, sucking at the game, and following him and such. Im in the lead by 5 kills and after killing him 3 more times he yell in a very angry voice "Kid your not playing this match anymore and your never going to follow us again GOODBYE!" and what do you know I'm magically dropped from the match just as he finishes goodbye . Well just after that I check his gamertag and his buddies and what do you know they show offline now. So I think "hell maybe I can join in through someone elses tag who I know is still in their match, nope it shows joinable but no matter how many times I tried it would always say full when it wasn't.

The gamertag in question: JOB King Cold (the o between j and b may be a zero. it has correct spacing)

I would really appreciate it if the 405th would band together and give a modder his dues by reporting him for system tampering, I have modder hunted before and mass reporting does work so please for the sake of all the true gamers out there get this guy off our network.

from what i could tell he kicked M07 Marauder from a game and then blocked him from joining the games JOB King Cold is playing. while i dont understand how mods work, it could just have been that he was host. ive been host before and had this power before and im pretty sure that i dont have any mods.

btw do u have it on PC or xbox?

He kicked me from both matches, read the quote and what happened after.

Search on youtube and you will find videos of people kicking people from their matches, it's a mod I have searched it up extensively.

Players use a console mod to kick players from the match.

I don't think this is modding. It definitely isn't cheating. If the AK was only super fast for him, that would be cheating. If it was really fast for everyone, that's not cheating, since he has no special advantage. But you could also just be seeing things. There have been plenty of times where I'm playing video games and I think there's something out of the ordinary and turns out I'm just imagining it. How you were mysteriously dropped from the match is weird, but I've heard of ways to drop people from matches in Xbox Live that are not at all cheating.
Being a modder myself, I have to tell you that not all modding is bad or cheating. Mods are not allowed on Xbox Live, regardless of what kind. I don't mod on Xbox Live ever. I almost exclusively mod Halo PC. I also never use mods that would give me an unfair advantage over other players. That's the difference between modding and hacking.

sorry for this short hijack but what mods do you do to HALO CE?

The guy host booted you. He's an internet tough guy with access to Cain and Able and ZoneAlarm, not much compared to what I've seen. I can tell you he isn't a modder, modding MW2 is for the people who have a LOT of time and money (upwards of $300), and ends up getting the person banned within an hour or two. Not to mention that anyone with a LIVE-enabled JTAG has already bragged about it in every place possible, so they'd be showing up somewhere.

Old stuff, be the mature one and leave it be, playing internet superhero isn't going to do anything but boost his ego. Also, you can't report someone unless you've been in their game within the past 24 hours. So stop the grudge business and let the guy get host banned, it won't take long and he'll never have the opportunity to pull this off again.

Just for future reference, XBOX reports don't do anything. They don't look into them unless it's in the hundreds or thousands, and even then Microsoft and IW are on completely separate schedules, so any game-specific bans are usually rare or nonexistent.

You don't need Halo CE to mod. I tried to update to CE, but it didn't work correctly, so I removed the update.

well, i have a friend with a legit tenth prestige lv 70 and he DID make me suspicous, and the hacked 10th prestige guys make me a little suspicious. However, i just let them be on their marry way. But if he's such a sore loser that he needs a hack like THAT he's not worth the trouble. eventually he will get enough reports to be kicked off of live. In fact, I've only seen a mod like that once when my friend and i joined a match with some spinning coin guys. Well, anyway, I sup[pose I'll do the internet world a favor and help be rid of them. I'll send a message to all of my friends too. He'll be off in no time.

i use to have a hacked 10th prestige... and the only mods that made you good were the auto m16 or famas(patched)
aimbot(patched)
instant reload(patched)
always UAV(patched)
so theres not good left so that should hopefully bring out a level playing field
