My first build

Finally decided to make a full suit for myself for next years pax east and of course for my own enjoyment. Going with a busa helmet and busa shoulder perms with the rest being MKVI. helmet pep by skupilkinson torso pep by Flyin Squirrel

Wanted to make a battle worn helmet rather than a clean painted model. Pictures definately dont do it justice.

Helmet was about 3 weeks from paper to finished product with working strobes in the jaw. chest pep took about 4 days. i am resining that today and will move on to bondo by tonight.

Thanks alot coldevil123! good to know it looks good to more people than just me. I think the rest after the chest and the helmet will be a breeze. Gonna do a custom mag holder on my right thigh once i get to that point.

Figured I'd put up a vid of my strobes. I know its not normal but I will have white solid white lights in my shoulder of my Chest piece. Wanted the red strobes just cause i thought it looked neat. This was taken before my visor was put in but now it is all set.

Just a quick test fit. I know its a little crooked but thats fixed in the fine adjustments and detailing.

Looks pretty good so far, the first torso I built for my Busa build looked about that wide when I wore it, but it felt like I couldn't breath when I had it on plus it was digging into my rib cage so I built mine a little wider, but as long as its comfortable then you should be good

It was a bit tight but it has been modified to fit. I wanna used elastic fabric on the lower sections and buckles on the shoulders so there will be some movement with me. I also am going to go way into left field with this build. Once it is done and after PAX east I will be adding chain mail sheets between each armor plate rather than black cloth so it will be a medieval heavy metal looking suit.

Kinda a bad shot but here's the back. Battle worn with distressed silver airbrushing on the details.

Just thought I would throw this out there to anyone else using an airbrush.........Opaque silver mixed with Translucent dark grey is awesome for damage spots, and accent painting!!!
