As a Forum we suggest that you DO NOT use the armour builds as protective equipment, home made foam and fibreglass is no substitute for the real deal. You may find its not sufficient at the wrong time.

I dont know yet but i was kind of thinking maybe the Mkvi halo reach version with the carter helmet attachment.

So I havent really been doing my build because i constantly been going to cheer practice nearly everyday but I made the side seals for the chest peice. I spray everything in black so I can see the mistakes by the way. Also my chest peice,well is how you say kinda of light so i decided to do a flip with it on and i landed perfectly, maybe I`ll make a teaser video.

The side looks awsome to me

So instead of building the mkvi I built the JFO because it was easier and I like it. Dont judge me it`s my first pep.

Heres another JFO pep. I think it could be the appropriate size but it sort of is kind of big. Anywho I think it should look just fine when im done with the padding.

Tell me what you think should i make it smaller?

The helmet size looks correct I wouldn't change it and once its paired up with your armor it will all blend together

So I followed Cereals thread and youtube video on how to rondo lol i had no idea you could do that with bondo and fiber glass. Anywho I just finished rondoing the interior or the jfo helmet and it seems almost hard as rock. Then again i put 4 layers of the rondo mixure inside. Heres a picture

Rondo is a pretty nice material for quick hardening, but it can get heavy. How much does your helmet weigh now, just out of curiosity?

Looks like you're overcoming some big hurdles here. This build is coming along nicely. Can't wait to see more.

It`s about I`d like to say 4 pounds but it`s 5lbs. And thanx that means alot since it`s my first build ever.

I havent been on in a while and very busy doing other things but anyways i have half of the jfo helmet 75% done I just need to know where can I get a decent filler to fill in the imperfections.

Its not bad . could use some sanding ( if you can sand foam id k ) in the end but i really love the way you worked this yet.

Thanks and the spray I have on the peice is sandable

As Carpathiavh99 said. . . . You've definitely overcome some hurdles during your build. Way to stick with it and it looks like it's coming together fine.
