Ok so heres my chest peice. I started on the chest peice first since i thought it would take the longest and would be the hardest ,but as good things come to an end i was lolly gagging around and like a nood i put flex seal on my chest peice..(worst mistake ever) If you have any ideas how to smoothen this please reply

And this is the outcome

This isnt even the bad part

And again always ask someone or this will happen

So instead of almost destroying the beautiful chest peice like i do all of my inperfect armor and feeling dumb and being a bum on a log. I started to search for a solution to this minor problem... I just did =D !!! I just found out that flex seal is very sandable !!!

Looking good buddy. Big difference between the first picture of the back, and the last. Coming together nicely. :)

Its just a work in progress my motivation is to make reach armor better than Savagegiggle`s build...hopefully

Most folks are using Plasti-dip spray to seal their foam pieces. I'm just starting out using the foam for my next build and there are definitely trade offs (things I found hard with fiberglass are easier using foam and somethings that are hard with foam are easier with fiberglass).

On my Mark V build the only things that are foam are the boots since I thought they would be good for testing and well, softer to walk on lol. I had to use a lot of plasti-dip but it worked pretty good. I'm going to try something else to seal it with next and if that works well I'll share.

I like using the dremel to sand the edges to join seams better, but boy is it messy!

To smooth it, you could try rubbing a solvent over it. Plastidip is soluable with a xylene based solvent. I use "Industrial Machine Lubricant" from ace hardware. I don't like using the sprays and I usually put on a few thin coats of brush on plastidip diluted with solvent

I dont know where i can get the sholder seals. Do you know what file they are on or do i have to free hand because i want them to look acurrate.

Got some new stuff nuthing new..These forearm peices are getting kind of challenging anyways, anyone know any good forearm files

They`re still in progress

So I just finished off my ab plate, which i owe a Thanks to L3X`S file. Without it I wouldnt know how high my Cod peice would have to go and it was well, pretty high.
