So I wanted to share my Nerf Longshot modification. I received a kit from Kula courtesy of VectorWorkz from Black Tactical. This kit was super easy to install. The whole thing is 3d printed. It comes complete with all the plastic screws you will need. There are a few youtube videos on the kits assembly. I began by doing some very minor cleanup to the parts themselves. They come printed in Black and Silver. I began by disassembling the LongShot and there was only one part that had to be cut away which is the upper bullpup rail. I used a small hacksaw and it went pretty quick. some light sanding and it was done. You have to remove the back stock as well. I carefully put the body back together and placed a couple of screws back to hold it temporarily until i was finished with paint. I cleaned all parts with Isopropyl Alcohol and then primed with plastic primer. Sprayed all blaster parts base metallic Grey. All 3d parts received some secret sauce print resolution cleanup and then the fun part began. I wanted to give this blaster the Halo 5 Blue Steel Skin.

This kit looks awesome. Just curious, any reason you didn't sand off the Nerf and Longshot markings?

I was only going to be able to get so close to a Halo weapon since this is mod. So I chose to just leave it. It's not super visible in the finished piece anyways, and if anyone asks or tries to tell me it's a Boomco repaint (which I have already been told this isnt a nerf blaster, its boomco) I can prove otherwise. And I wanted to share this with the Nerf mod community as well.

You sure made it look good.
Thanks Kula, it's easy when you have good stuff to work with. Only thing I wish I could still do is hold a clip in the stock. the handle attachment makes that impossible.

That looks super convincing. Even up close it is definitely the MA5B. Ive been looking for ways to make my halo props actually shoot so nerf looks like its definitely the way to go!
