ODST ARMOR

sweet dude. However, I don't want to discourage you, but there is a color that is closer to the ODST out there. Instead of the white, it is light gray. I made this same "mistake" when I was purchasing urban style camos

Here's a picture of what I'm talking about:

The pants on the left are the style you got, and the pants on the right, are the slightly more accurate version. I wish I knew what there were called, but This is cool.

Once I'm done with my Mjolnir, I'll be finishing up my ODST that I'm working on.

so we need to make a sticky thread where we have a list of colthing and armor
like where and who has them and what you'll need to build the out fit
same for the marines

Ahh yes.
I only know of a local place here.
(banana bay, dont know if there are many more out there :Steve: )
its a military clothing/accessories place.
Probably get a good portion of what you need there.

I'm actually making myself an ODST. Adam, any links to any online shops with this color camo? I'm pretty sure the local Surplus won't have it, so I'll have to check out the non-local one.

Here is my ODST progress:

Helmet: Out of cardboard, spraypainted, then thickened.-0%
Visor: Bluish-Silver-0%
Fatigues: Urban pattern with gray instead of white-0%
Body Armor: NO IDEA-0%

Is 0% considered progress?

;-)

Just kiddin, but seriously you all should get cracking on this. I still haven't seen anybody with a finished ODST...

Makes me want to have at it.

Update!
My helmet has begun-I've started the frame. Can't continue until I get either hot glue or duct tape.
Body Armor has been solved-
Arms & legs will be obvious knee & elbow pads, very basic.
The torso will be a cheap base tactical vest, then add on ammo pouches.
Greaves will be boots with cardboard attached, unattatchable of course.

Because it could be useful to someone.

It's a reference for the one who are doing a ODST armor. It's quite difficult to find pics so, the pics offered by Adam (I think...) can be useful.
