So over all by having FIRST a fiberglass layer to the helmet and THEN adding a thin-thicker coat of rondo would make it more structurally sound in other words?

There is literally no reason to add rondo. Just do a layer or two of fiberglass and you will be set.

Im currently fiberglassing my iron man helmet its my first build I would like to know guys am I the only one that rage inside when i need to lay cloth and mat flat on straight and curved edges i cant do it ahah it always form an empty spot under the cloth and now my helmet inside is a fiberglass mess sadly i dont know what to do i dont want to put my head in it like this because its not really secure i might need some advice guys on how to fix that if you dont mind i will add a picture of the inside tonight so you can take a look
