BIG UPDATE:!!



1. THIGHS!!! BONDOED, PAINTED, and REFITTED somewhat

P.S. not the final design yet, also the layers are made out of foam just to let you guys know



2. FRIENDS ASSAULT RIFLE IS PAINTED (sad face )

3. Friend put Magnets on both his ODST PISTOL, and AR so that it would stick to his back and his left thigh

4. Do you think these look like Marine Glasses by any chance?

5. Got this bad boy today lol

6. REFITTED AND FIXED up the Straps so when we start filming we wouldn't have that much problems

7. Decided to put the damn thing on (still need to fix the belt, and DAMN WAS IT HOT!!! )



P.S one thing is for sure we are going to be dieing at COMIC CON!!!

The thighs are sooooooo awesome! Love the paintjob, that makes me wanna go resin mine. You guys really do my files justice, lol! Looks great, I like the foam scale thingys you made. Sorry the ones in the pep file were pretty impossible to make, but you know some noob out there will complain if I don't include them in the model. Can't wait to see the finished ODST suit!

And I was wondering how much time you put into smoothing the outside with Bondo. Did you pretty much smooth every area? I've spent a lot of time and have only gotten like half of it smoothed (most of the top). Get a little frustrating.

YEah, it took a long time, i used 60 grit, then 100 grit, then 150 over it and used some square sand block thing and make it even smoother.

The gut plate shouldn't be that hard to make. Just look at some screen shots on the marin's guit plate and figure out what you will need, even if it's temporary.



By the way, did you get the vest at Evike.com? Becuase I getting pretty close to ordering one myself from there.

I see you finished your friend's very disfigured son It all looks good, and the black vest underneath the armor is definately a good add on. Looks great. (I also like the red stripe down all the armor)

Srry im only getting to this now..... But great job on the thighs man, they are looking amazing! The assault rifle still looks pretty much the same, but what can you do!? And I do like the glasses, nice find! And you truthfully dont have to be srry, (although the updates couldn't have come at a better time). And I was literally joking about the pressure thing, although if you are going to get 3 more suits done, you may want to get your arse in gear!? =P

1. I got those Darn Thighs done and they look beautiful, now i just gotta fix the belt buckle and crotch piece

2. Just to show you guys we started fiberglassing the 2nd ODST suit (P.S. SECRET MESSAGE! )

3. OFF - TOPIC, My friend said he was going to have a private Paintball Party at a Nearby Paintball Park, i decided to make this just for the hell of it. (OH yeah tested it, and it is light) ITS A PAINTBALL RIOT SHIELD!!

Yeah i was planning on going as a Juggernaut from Call of Duty: MODERN WARFARE 2, AND possibly make a new game mode too as well



4. On Topic, Gonna start on a custom CQB Shoulder piece for the Marine (also going to use it for Paintballing as well) (JUST STARTED!!!)
