And that is a completed mold, and mother mold. Now to see if I can get the things apart and out! I'll be using a belt to hold it all together later.

If you have any questions about what you see here, just ask in this thread. Thanks.

That's looking good... I think. I wish I knew what I was looking at but I'm a total stranger to moulding. I take it you remove the pink and white casting and retrieve the original model and then fill the casting with material to make the new helmet from?
I'd love to see a tutorial of this because I have some plans to learn this Nd have a go at it one day after my suits all done :)

Good work buddy!

The belt is there just to hold it together for the moment. I'll be using 2 winch style belts. Just need to get them.

That's cool, thanks for that I can see what goin on now a lot clearer. I'm really excited to try this out but it's going to be a while before I actually get round to it lol

Iv'e seen a couple of people try to explain this sort of mould making but i have to say...... This doesnt even need explaining rofl. Cheers and keep it coming......

I used washers and a big magnet to lock the collar in place. I only made 1 bolt hole for the addon to stay attatched to the helm. It is front heavy but with the battery, magnet, and collar it doesn't sag at all. But as always some good padding made it even easier.

I hope you guys like this.

Wow! You've come a long way. The helmet looks great! I think this is the first helmet that I've seen someone use foam as a backing with out it looking overly obvious. Great job!
