nice job man, cant wait to see pics as the process comes along.... and the hot glue method is awesome, easy, and practically costless. But the pep helmet is great keep it going.

i dont think u need to spend extra money on buying fog proof visors, just use that spray stuff that they sell for keeping your mirror from fogging up while you take a shower

i would not use fogging spray

I use some for paintball and it fogged in about 10 mins

i would just go with another fan that blows air on the visor

Motorcycle shops sell a spray which keeps it from fogging up, it last's a long time and doesnt blur your vision at all.

10$? per visor

ANYWAY: I'm buying the smae visor Adam used which isn't fog-free. HTere is a fog free version of the same one, but it doesn't ship to Caanad so I'm buying them off of ebay. The ebay store that sells them new doesn't have gold fog-free ones so... I guess I'll just buy a spray, once I get there.

Falling Jihad: I read that to be the cost difference between fog-proof and regular (i.e. not the total).

A good fan will prevent any need for special visors or sprays imo. Mine never fogged up as long as my fan was turned on. :)

Hey everyone, I found relatively cheap face shields on ebay. This guy sold them with like 6$ shipping and 34$ for them (for gree). The ones i were gonna buy had 20$ shipping (combined ) and were 35$ for foggable.

OK so guys I know I have commented a lot in the past while, but don't fear! I haven't lost my iniative! Anyway, since my supplies for the helmet are takign soooooooo long to come, I am deciding to make the pepakura parts until they arrive (originally I didn't want to do anything else until the helmet was completed). Anyway, the helmet I downloaded came already scaled to 25.6cm tall, so I never had to size test. So, I am at a loss for words. How do I size test? I just printed out Robogenisis' amazing hand plates, only to realize theyre like 1.5 times the size of my hand O.O ( and I have 7'' hands from base to fingertip. So yeah I am 5'9" and am expecting to grow till 5'11" by the tiem I'm 18 (in 3 years). SO how do I size scale, and from there, how do I apply it to the pepakura? I found the current scale as 86.0000000000.
