Red's new Custom Mk.VI

Hi all, I've been quiet for a while, but I have not been idle. With the help of my people, I am now working on a new Mk.VI suit for a client. This will be a custom suit with Mk.VB and ODST part integrated into it. Here are a couple of concept art of the new armor.

The second pic is still a WIP, I will add in details later.

I am also working on another Mk.VB and a custom ODST. I'll post more pics when I can.

great project dude! your pep work looks pretty good, albeit with a little warping, but its nothing that cant be fixed! cant wait to see more on the armor!

Hi all, it's been a while since I've updated anything. Anyway, the armor that this thread is about is complete, and is now in Australia.
Since the forum had been down a couple of times, and all pic links on my post seem to be dead, I'll post up new ones.

Here's the concept art on the armor:

Here is the collective pieces, prior to resining:

This is the backplate, which had to be redone due to mis-scaling. I had to redo several parts to make sure the size is correct.

This is the helmet, which I initially thought was oversized, but actually it was OK for the size of the whole suit.

This is the Recon chest add-on, which had to be redone as well, because the chest was remade.

This pic shows the test fitting of the add-on plate to the actual chest plate.

This is the gauntlet and hand plate, resined and rondoed.

Boot plates, resined, rondoed and glassed.

That's all I have for now. I'll post up more pics in my next post. Comments and critiques welcomed.

Hi all, here are some pics of the undersuit, based on MC's in Halo 3.

The suit is 1-piece, custom tailored garment that opens in the front. It comes with a separate neck seal. The opening is sealed by means of velcro. I would have used zippers, but I think velcro suited my purpose better.
