where are you in wisconsin? Im shooting for this suit to be ready by the milwaukee comiccon, i think its in september.. ill have to get all my photos together and get a thread started.

In the Baraboo/Dells area. I am excited to see the thread as well as the finished project.
For Wisconsin typically see a good handful of halo cosplayers at colossal con north in the dells in November.
There was at least one or two other halo cosplayers around not in this pic. And I think only 3 of us communicated that we would be going.

Welcome! I'm just down the road in Oshkosh, so if you need local help with anything feel free to reach out. I just back from Kitsune Kon in Green Bay, it's a small but chill con.
The only Milwaukee con I know of coming up is Anime414. Last year I went to it (their first year) and got Steve to sign my Halo: CE pistol, so I wore my Mark IV to it.
Anime Milwaukee (AMKE) is much larger and is held in March. I'll be at Saturday for 414 and then I always go all 3 days for AMKE.

Welcome! I am over in Woodbury, MN just off the bridge basically past Hudson, WI. That is definitely a spartan smile in that helmet. Lol

About me: I am a 39 year old single dad of 1, who is quickly becoming a teenager and makes me feel old everyday. I am not good about talking about myself without being asked a specific question.
Favorite Cons: I go t o Planet ComicCon in Kansas City every year. Being in the middle of the state of Missouri makes it slightly difficult to go to the bigger cities for every event, but will do my best to do what I can.
Costumes/Props: I have a Sarge from Red vs Blue, won a Planet ComicCon floor award (that I wasnt trying to compete for) for my fully 3D printed Godzilla armor costume, a MMCC approved Custom Mandalorian, as well as a spattering of other not armor related costumes.

I eventually want to go to other bigger conventions, however, I am too worried about damaging my gear for the really big events.
