I tried looking through the forums and never found a clear answer for this, but I was just curious what previous builders' opinions are on rondo vs fiberglass for the inside of a helmet? Rondo seems significantly easier but I was wondering if it is less durable than fiberglassing?

I've used both and I personally use both on my builds.

My recommendation is that you apply a few coats of fiberglass to add strength. Rondo by itself will crack over time and is very fragile if dropped. Especially the corners and edges of armour.
I use Rondo to put on top of my fiberglass so it isn't so sharp.

Hi
Buy a resin and bondo from the same company so hardener will be working with bondo and ressin in the same time.
I was using Novol resin with some parts of bondo and mixed togehter. you can use one hardener for this. Then you put this in side the helmet by brush . Then you start making bondo outside. I was doing always molds and then copies.
