I do agree it needs more sanding. My time is running out, so I rushed the sanding stage. I usual take my time, but i want to have a complete costume for youmacon. Another reason why i rushed my armor. My work give me more hours than usual, then i realize that someone has quit. So i have less time working on my armor. I will go back on those pieces and fix them after youmacon/halo 4

Amazing armor. You used the same files as me, same paint and everything else. But.... Yours fits. No matter how I scaled mine, It didnt look right. Lol!! On a huge not, very lovely armor. :)
Im extremely impressed. Cant wait to see the final product. :D
Maybe it;ll give me courage to try another ODST.... Thanks!

Ok, I red the whole thread from the beginning and, from now on, you are my ODST armor master. I'll redo everything following your steps.
A question: in gr/cm2 what paper you used? I'm asking that because many pieces result to have annoying valley between one edge and another, especially the chest plate which I made already twice + my wife one's and I'm about to redo. Did you use any technique to avoid that?

ODST Master? Not quite too sure on that. I used 110lb card stock, 198.89 gsm. As for the for the valley folds for the chest plate, i have no problem with that piece. I did take my my time in scoring and folding each piece so i will have a nice clean chest plate. Hugh suggest using butterfly clips to help assemble pieces. Which helps alot. I find it nearly impossible to put the chest piece together without them.

So anyway I started to paint the shoulder pieces and it turn out pretty well for a rush stencil job. I will added ODST letters under the logo after it dries. A Special THANKS TO carpathiavh99.

Awesome.:D So how do's the whole thing look all together now;) I can't wait to see it. :cool

Well My other shoulder piece orange peel(right one), I manged to save the stencil work. I thought i have to re-do the entire paint job, but it just need minor touch ups. Forgot to take pics of the orange peel. Good news my Sean Bradley Odst gloves kit came in yesterday. I hope to get the shin and forearms done this week, got a few days off finally.

Looks awesome - I like how you incorporated the tattoo design into your armor.

The shins i rush. I wish i could have done more sanding on them, but you gotta make due for the time you have. I have to cut into back of the shins. For a few reasons, 1. Its hard to climb up stairs, 2 I couldn't sit down properly without the back of the shin hitting my back of my upper leg.

Even with the rush job on the shins, that looks awesome. Those gloves are something else, too. They look similar to a set one of my guys wore on deployment (he was a scout).

1st test fit of the full suit. Need to fix the Shoulder from sliding around.(Spinal cord will be added on latter to the shirt latter) NOW Pics!!!!

Looks awesome! For the shoulders, I see that you had put a clip underneath the chest core, which is what I did for mine. It does the job real good to hold them in place, but you gotta have some help to clip 'em ahah ;-)

looks great! My only complaint is the lack of the camo on the thighs and gaunts, but I think your kit looks fantastic without it

Thanks, glad you like it. As for the camo on the thighs and forearms, I couldn't find camo patterns i like or looks similar of it (i might free hand some camo on it latter) Attached the buckle on the shoulder, doesn't slide as much now. (reason why i didn't attach buckle to shoulder piece. I want to make sure they have enough room to buckle it) I took more pics today.

I know what you are thinking, where's his AR? Well I took that apart to install the electronics, that was about a week or two ago. Its Alot harder than it looks. I thought it would be easy. Learn something new everyday. I should had paint it and install the electronics after youmacon/halo 4. At least i got a knife and a pistol . (Thats cool right?) I'll post the progress of my AR latter. I hope My Socom M6C from Tactonyx Studios comes soon. 2 days left for Youmacon
