I thought you'd be interested in this story, it should be very curious as it unfolds.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29265600/?gt1=43001

While I was working at Yale I heard about the rumors that the Skull and Bones stole Indian Chief Geronimo's remains. I guess it was some sort of initiation for someone pledging the society. Anyway the rumors have been widespread, and now Geronimo's descendants are suing Skull and Bones to get them back.

It'll be very interesting to see how they handle this. If they deny it, there will be considerable public outrage, especially from minority rights activists and his descendants. If S&B admits it, it'll bring a great deal of public inquiry about how they could possibly have gotten away with it for this long, and it would incriminate MANY of the most powerful and influential people in the country who have been members of the society including BOTH presidents Bush and their Grandfather (who supposedly took part in the actual graverobbing), not to mention John Kerry, Barack Obama, and countless others. Secret societies don't like this much scrutiny.. which they'll be getting plenty of either way.

Interesting indeed!

Anyway, print out the story and share it with others, it may not be around for too long before it gets removed from the media!

youd be surprised how many secret societies are real....every one denied the bilderbirg group was real and that if you thought they were you're paranoid...untill last year when they put out a press release and got on the news....thanx alex jones.....www.infowars.com

Bizarre indeed! I didn't even know about the organization until today 0_< I'm out of the loop.

The only conspiracy fodder we have here in our part of TN is the Masons.

i'll see if i can find a picture of our masonic temple here in california.....there in the open about it...im not even that far from bohemian grove down in santa rosa ...another billionaire , presidents and heads of state boys club/cult...human sacrifices and everything( only in effigy , or so they say)

I also wonder about these secret societies, one of my friends is a future mason because his uncle is one.
All I know from him about the masons is in order to become one is to either 1) Save the life of another, or 2) have a family member involved in the masons.
I'm not trying to give anyone ideas of planting car bombs and falsely saving lives here.
Also, there are some bomb shelters turned masonic buildings from the 50's here in New York.

Ah... the Free Masons. There's a mysterious group, no?

Vexona- I'm with you, I didn't even know about these guys until just now. I guess we're out of touch here in Ohio as well. ;)

omg, everyone is suing everyone in america. the people vs the people.

seriously though, because that's really going to work. even if they did it, with so might men in there, none's going to do anything.

they just want attention and/or money.

My first thought was "What the hell are a bunch of Yale D-bags doing in nowhere Oklahoma?"

Hehe, I grew up just south of that area and went to the Wichita Mtns a lot growing up as well as to the different exhibits at the Ft Sill Military Museum complex.

I've been to Geronimo's grave 3 times but I've never heard in my life of bones being stolen from it. And I don't know what MSNBC is going on about "other Apache prisoner". Geronimo got along quite well with a lot of the ranchers and military folks in later days. He wasn't a prisoner, more like an exile. He wasn't as much of a hard core guerrilla like Sitting Bull.

Don't underestimate the cash the Apache's can throw at this case though. Their Oklahoma casinos have been extremely profitable over the last decade. Yale is going to have a straight-up legal battle if they get dragged into the thick of it.

Also for you guys who have never been up there. Ft Sill is the main artillery base in the US and their cannon walk is SPECTACULAR! I think they have the only surviving Atomic Annie on display.

Kinda OT but here's a couple pics from the last time I was there in summer 2008. These pics are just a few miles from the cemetery where Chief Geronimo is buried. Some from the cannon walk at Ft Sill and a couple shots of the Wichita Mtns Wildlife Refuge Area that the Indian guerrilla units were based out of in the late 1800's

Well, I guess since nobody's heard of the Skull and Bones, it kinda confirms the whole 'secret society' moniker.

I think the most accurate portrayal of the Bones society was in Robert DeNiro's movie "The Good Shepherd", but it was also popularized in the 2000 film "The Skulls" although far less accurately.

It's kinda hard to summarize the lore of the Bones because of the wide scope, but this article does it justice: http://www.secretsofthetomb.com/excerpt.asp

In short it's an occult based fraternity on Yale's campus that dates back to 1832 Germany whose members include a network of the most wealthy and powerful men in the country. Also known as the 'Brotherhood of Death" it's motto is "Bari Quippe Boni" - Nature makes only a few who are good.

Skull and Bones cultivates its talent by selecting members from the junior class at Yale University. The society screens its candidates carefully, favoring Protestants, or, now, white Catholics, with special affection for the children of wealthy, East Coast Skull and Bones members. Skull and Bones has been dominated by approximately two dozen of the country's most prominent families - Bush, Bundy, Harriman, Lord, Phelps, Rockefeller, Taft, and Whitney, among them - who are encouraged by the society to inter-marry so that the society.s power is consolidated.

The influence of the cabal begins at Yale, where Skull and Bones has appropriated university funds for its own use, leaving the school virtually impoverished. Skull and Bones. corporate shell, the Russell Trust Association, owns nearly all of the university.s real estate, as well as most of the land in Connecticut

The knights (as the student members are called) learn quickly that their allegiance to the society must supercede all else - family, friendships, country, God. They are taught that once they get out into the world, they are expected to reach positions of prominence so that they can further elevate the society.s status and help promote the standing of their fellow Bonesmen.

This purpose has driven Bonesmen to ascend to the top levels of so many fields that, as one historian observes, "at any one time The Order can call on members in any area of American society to do what has to be done." Several Bonesmen have been senators, congressmen, Supreme Court justices, and cabinet officials. There is a Bones cell in the CIA and FBI, which uses Skull and Bones as a recruiting ground . Society members dominate financial institutions such as J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, and Brown Brothers Harriman, where at one time more than a third of the partners were Bonesmen. At least one dozen Bonesmen have been linked to the Federal Reserve, including the first Chairman of the New York Federal Reserve. Skull and Bones members control the wealth of the Rockefeller, Carnegie, and Ford families.

Skull and Bones has also taken steps to control the American media. Two of its members founded the law firm that represents the New York Times. Plans for both Time and Newsweek magazines were hatched in the Skull and Bones tomb. In the 1880s, Skull and Bones created the American Historical Association, the American Psychological Association, and the American Economic Association so that the society could ensure that history would be written under its terms and promote its objectives. The society then installed its own members as the presidents of these associations.

Under the society's direction, Bonesmen developed and dropped the nuclear bomb and navigated the Bay of Pigs invasion. Skull and Bones members had ties to Watergate and the Kennedy assassination. They control the Council of Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission so that they can push their own political agenda. The society discriminates against minorities and fought for slavery; indeed, as evidence eight out of twelve of Yale.s residential colleges are named for slave owners while none are named for abolitionists. The society encourages misogyny: it did not admit women until the 1990s because members did not believe women were capable of handling the Skull and Bones experience and because they said they feared incidents of date rape. This society also encourages grave robbing: deep within the bowels of the tomb are the stolen skulls of the Apache Chief Geronimo, Pancho Villa, and former President Martin van Buren.

Oh, and I was wrong, Barack Obama never was a member, he went to Harvard, but he is listed as a defendant in the case. Anyhow I guess the point is that taking the Skull and Bones to court is kinda like trying to give the principal of your school detention.

Have a good day!

I knew about John Kerry and Bush(both of them), but I was going to say I had never heard of Obama being linked to them.

I had first heard about them through the movie as well, but I did some digging afterward to learn if it truly was real. Imagine my surprise to find that it was 'real'.

Just further evidence that it's all who you know.

so heres a twisted lil fact , dick cheney and barack obama are related....but back to s&b i found this one the web

Bush men have been Yale men and Bonesmen for generations. Prescott Bush, George W.'s grandfather, Yale '17, was a legendary Bonesman; he was a member of the band that stole for the society what became one of its most treasured artifacts: a skull that was said to be that of the Apache chief Geronimo. Prescott Bush, one of a great many Bonesmen who went on to lives of power and renown, became a U.S. senator. George Herbert Walker Bush, George W.'s father, Yale '48, was also a Bonesman, and he, too, made a conspicuous success of himself. Inside the temple on High Street hang paintings of some of Skull and Bones's more illustrious members; the painting of George Bush, the most recently installed, is five feet high.

heres another lil fact did you know prescott bush who was in charge of a bank in n.y.(i forget the name) was caught in 1942 under the trading with the enemy act...he was laundering money through I.G. Farben from the nazis so it could be safe in america....somthing to the ammount of $3 million (which is more today)

Really want to get spooked by what our leaders are doing in their free time? Read up on Bohemian Grove a bit. o_O

Owl%20Dollar.jpg

The membership list has included every Republican U.S. president since 1923 (as well as some Democrats), many cabinet officials, directors and CEOs of large corporations including major financial institutions. Major military contractors, oil companies, banks (including the Federal Reserve), utilities (including nuclear power) and national media (broadcast and print) have high-ranking officials as club members or guests

But anyway, scary stuff, blah blah. I'm getting off topic, sorry. I hope they get Geronimos remains back so they can give him a proper burial. Theres no sense in them sitting in some glass case at The Bones tomb.

Not to necro... I'm a 32 degree Scottish Rite Freemason here in Texas. Via pm, I'll answer any questions of this fraternal organization I am able to. Remember, there are bad apples in every group.

And, yes, we run the world! :p

Sorry Brutus, didn't mean this thread to be all doom and gloom. I know that not everyone involved with these fraternal societies is up to mischief. For some I know it's a family tradition.. and actually a more like a social club.

Cheers to the Freemasons.

All is well in the Realm...I like to discuss all that is FreeMasonry related. The history is rich, the villians are colorfull, and the conspiracies are the stuff of legend: i.e. - The FreeMasons and the C.I.A. killed Kennedy.

Little known facts: John Smith of the Mormans was a Mason (bad? up to you). The K.K.K. was formed as an off shoot of the Masons... not affiliated, just an off shoot (bad? I would say so in today's times, sorry). Hitler outlawed FreeMasonry (good? wouldn't really want him endorsing something you belonged to? eh?) The Catholic Church put out a Papal Bull excommunicating and member of the Church tied to F.M. ... thus the Knights of Columbus (bad? it was once thought F.M. was a religious body, it is not).

Doom and gloom are part of the world, all good groups have bad historical moments due to the behavior of its members. Me? I just wanna build some armor and share in the fraternal nature of the Forum. Unless I am personally insulted all is good... if I am insulted? Please refer to my signature... lol :p

So, basically we can blame all our economic troubles on the S&B because most of our recent presidents have been a part of it and 75% of all our national debit was accredited to both Bush's and Regan
