hey man. sorry for the super late reply but i had trouble opening the site for weeks!! well i used cardstock as everyone uses it

Hey guys. just tested the resin a few days ago. and luckily it worked out pretty fine...... no wait. GREAT! ) so im going to resin my work this weekend )

sorry for the triple post but i have an UPDATE
1st I resined the back part of my ODST helmet. and it went well

and then i slowly resined every part of the helmet...

but before i resined the chick part I put some support struts cause the chicks goes inwards...

i had trouble opening the site but luckily it opened
and finally an UPDATE!
first off ill show you the 3 resined pieces. the Helmet, and the Forearms.

and obviously i already cut the visor as you can see above. but i wanna give you a closer look.

what i will resin next: the CHEST PLATE!

It looks good so far, but I gotta say it might have been a mistake to cut the visor out already. The visor is what keeps the chin area from further morphing. You want to keep it around as long as possible in order to get your best results, from personal experience. Otherwise everthing looks good.

The chin has been like that when i first pepped it because, as you said, its a mistake not to put the visor.
I think ill Bondo the chins when I get some.

Hey guys sorry for the Double post but i have an UPDATE!
so first i wanna show you is the helmet! but the difference is i cut the exhaust thingy at the side of the helm ^_^

next is the chestplate i promised

then the equipment plates

the CQ shoulder! just resined half though.

i'll post some surprise. im to lazy to post it now and i need to study so ill post it on wednesday

Well as I promised. ill post a surprise..... dunno if it is actually a surprise but here it is!
the box i like to call "craft box" its not all in there cause some things are resined now and it might crush some peps...

and this one.... i wanted to post this a long time ago but i lost the USB connector of my camera, same reason i had crappy pics before(which means this pic is old)

and this one is old to..... my backpiece?

dont mind its deformation.... i always put struts before i resin so i will have a nice result..
and the things i had resined(this is not one of the surprises)

the CQ shoulder is kinda deformed on its lower part.. i will fix that...

UPDATE!
so as I said i will put struts on the backpiece! here it is!

And i resined the knees!!!

Your build is really impressive. I'm always seeing such awesome builds, and it just inspires me to do my own. I'm on such a tight schedule though lately, but this one is definitely awesome, and maybe soon I'll start my own!

Thanks! I started on the chest plate for the ODST, the file was made by Kirrou, but I ran out of glue, so only half way right now. I think I'll make my own build thread once I have more than one piece pepped out.
