Yes, I also recommend using foam, it's a bit easier, quicker and lighter. A lot of people have been using foam a lot lately.
It's going to be revolutionary. Nah, jk. But it might.... :D

Can you find any craft store near by? You might be able to find some black craft foam in there. Btw your Odst peps look great.

Oui! You pep fast!

This is a great start to your project, this ODST was my second armor project and It is way more user friendly than hardened SPARTAN armor.

Awesome! So far you're the only other person I've seen use my shoulder. I have to ask, did you use the triangle middle piece from a different shoulder?

On a side note, how difficult is that AR? Its probably the same one I was gonna use, so I'm just a bit curious.

Looking great!

thanks man. well the mid part you were saying was from nightshade's shoulder piece so it would match my right shoulder piece
and for the AR it wasn't that hard, just a bit

Yeah, that's not the fiberglass you're looking for. What you need is either fiberglass cloth (recommended) or fiberglass mat. It doesn't come in thin rolls like that, but in small packages where it's a large square of folded cloth/material.

Like this: Fiberglass cloth

No, I really don't think you will. I mean, what you purchased is for drywall reinforcement. Fiberglass cloth is more universal, but commonly used for boat and auto repair.

This is what fiberglass cloth looks like: Fiberglass cloth photo

Also, I'm not sure about your resin. I mean, it's technically a resin, but it's used for surface coating on tables, etc. Not sure how the viscosity is. I imagine it's more expensive than the regular resin used with fiberglass cloth.

Ideally, you want this: All-purpose fiberglass resin
