Ok, Hey hey. Aight, so this is my idea. I've thought about it for a few months now and I'm pretty sure I wanna make it happen. It's just with school and work getting in the way I doubt it will anytime soon. I'm sure some of the experts on here \have already thought about this, but I'm just saying it for anyone who hasn't.. Blah. Cut to the chase.

So I'm trying to build an accurate Sniper Rifle scope similar to the one in-game. I've notice there aren't any rectangle shaped scopes (lol) so I though about a video camera. I would need to make a scope shell, then find an old, but accurate video camera laying around in my pit of electronic death in the attic. Once done, I suppose you could just install the screen where the rectangle part is, then put lens on opposite end, then make sure everything runs appropriately, and place a laminate sheet of a reticle over the viewing screen. Place zoom and power buttons on side, and there you have it. BUT to be entirely game accurate, it needs to have night vision. I'm stumped on that now, unless you get some sort of night vision camera that probably costs an arm and a leg. It's an investment I would LOVE to make, but I cannot afford to. Anyone else is welcomed to use the idea, if you haven't already haha.

Check out LeeKeegans Sniper rifle build, he is a smart man! Lol, he used a baby monitor screen thing (that had night vision already built in and just built the scope frame around it...

I don't know the link but just search sniper, or look in the elite section.

Cheers, Dave.

It's cool Kegan, I have actually been studying your work for a while, and I am very impressed. Your woodwork is amazing. Both of my Uncle's are carpenter's and one works for some company that does movie props, and I've been trying to learn it myself. However, I realize it's probably way too big for me to get into, and the tools needed are quite expensive. But let me say that your work is.. well.. Amazing. lol

Holly molly that is wicked man ;) , i cant wait to see the scope all put together.

Im sure there are more simple ways to get a cool effect if u dont have the money to make what LeeKegan did, maybe u can crate a plastic stencil with different colors and put a LED on the back, i had a picture using that method on a helmet to crate a HUD on the visor but i cant find it. I'll put it up when i find it.
