@Oreo

Lol man now I want your shin casts :eek

@Burk

Thanks and I will :D

Unless H3 ODST distracts me

@xavierjer

Haha thanks :D

I take pride in those and I'll end up putting them on my armor

@Flyerfye

Plasti Dip is a spray on rubber compound. Basically you apply it to anything to give it some grip.

Also I didn't want and fiberglass showing or poking me etc.

Though I think it is a great thing to work with after you apply at least 3-4 coats.

@jlhR2

Look above ;)

I get my stickers custom made

EDIT:

Took of the masking tape and here it is so far.

I will be getting some paint brushes tomorrow and weather my helmet along with my chest.

I am curious to how it will turn out :D

Soullesssin, what are you going to do as far as the visor? and are you going to paint the little notch areas at the sides on the visor.

I think that is the way to go to get that look.

@jlhR2

Well if you look a couple pages back, I have already gotten a visor.

I am not sure what to do with those notch things.

But it is in the works

Well actually I saw your visor on the few pages back, but I got the impression that you liked it, but might try something something different.

You can do what Pooper did and "fake" it by building it into the visor rather than directly into the helmet. It means more visor cutting though.

Different as in?

@Oreo

Lol those visors costed me $70 and I don't wanna do any more cutting :eek

I might grab a piece of cardboard and cut it to the shape that it needs to be

Then resin and bondo it

Sand and smooth it out and glue it on.

Simple LOL

I've seen people do that part as an outie (which I'm considering) vs. recessed. Is that what you mean?

I don't know, the double visor looks amazing and I want you to know I am not discrediting your awesome helmet. I wish I had my helmet to that point. Dual visor method works because when someone is 20-100 feet away you can easily notice the dual visors.

But I personally can't stand the 1/8" thickness left by the cut visor, I am personally thinking using clear adhesive vinyl sticker (maybe even a few layers of it) to get my desired effect.

Helmet Looks Amazing Soulless! I wish I could make helmets that awesome! ;)

Off Topic Time: I would like to join in on some ODST action as well.

GT: Shade 088

I will be on later tomorrow, like maybe 3:00 P.M. CEN USA time, if anyone is interested.

Damn, this is what happens when I'm gone for a while! Soulless, Everything looks great!

I'm digging the Plasti Dip idea for the inside of the helmet. I was going to do that myself but didn't know if it was going to make it hotter in the helmet...

As for the visor and the side dent thingies, I cut into the visor. Only bad thing about that is, if you don't get it right, you can fix it unless you get a new visor. On my helmet, one side is slightly tall than the other, but it's hard to tell. I used black tape on my old Hot Glue helmet. Maybe you can use vinyl stickers (that's what I wanted to use instead of the tape).

It's looking great! Sorry I haven't been posting. Been busy at work. I've got a LOT of catching up to do. Been playing a lot of ODST too. :D
