Lots of hard work over the weekend sanding and filling. She's almost there. Just a bit more cleanup work. Must remember the 6 foot rule or I will be here all week.

Haha, my motto is "Sand the thing until it looks like God made it and then some." It kills my neck and shoulders and isn't usually worth it, but I come out with a sweet looking prop for me to mess the paintjob up with.

Not that that's helpful. Awesome progress so far.

Well, now that the white coats are complete. Time for the part I hate most, masking. Just did the first part of the orange color. Fingers crossed....

First batch of tape removed. Tomorrow we finish the orange lines.

PS This paintjob is stressful, white is so unforgiving.

All the orange is complete. Had a small error while doing touchups and one of the strips got a little messed up. Just some premature weathering . Now to let it all settle then off to the Green.

Looks great..... the the first pic of the green looked a bit mom the light side. Must have still been wet or something because thisnpinrhe green looks spot on

Yea the first shot was right after I put the coat on. Definitely came into its own when drying.

Alright, so for the details I decided to go old fashioned and hand paint. First bit done for the day, going to do the other side of the weapon and barrel tomorrow.
