^^ yeah Ben, they are too big. As they are now, I can't bring my hands up to my face.

My number one rule for this costume (since it's being built for halo-ween) is that I must be able to drink beer while wearing it.

When I was sculpting the bicep, I guess I didn't get the proportions quite right. Luckily the design is such that I can dremel it down to a proper shape/size without making it look jury rigged.

I'm trying to get the bicep to extend up the arm far enough to be hidden under the shoulder piece.

Here the bicep looks a little longer than the pep model.

on the bicept where the gold ends at the top actually starts another piece. for the movie suit this piece was made of a rubber "movable' material. Making it a little easier to move. The neck piece, and parts of the leg are also made of this material (latex I think). This will allow you to have a full range of motion in your suit.

hmm! I haven't seen that clip.

I've been watching the IM resource thread on theRPF pretty closely, but I guess I overlooked this detail.

@Spartan: well see, I'm using TMP as a starting point.

I'm not trying to create as suit as good as his, I"m trying to top him! :D

*gasp* EPIC DOUBLE POSTAGE! SMITE HIM!

On the other hand, your suit does look awesome. I don't think we've seen any IM suits yet, have we?

looks good. Although I think the bicept may be a bit large. I have been working on one of these myself. If you want the files I would be happy to share. I have almost peped out a full set of armor. I also have the cammillo files, which may help. here is a side by side of the two bicepts, if it will help you sir.

Lookin good ben. I might have to make a pep torso for reference- The manequin I have is not really shaped like I am. :rolleyes

Whose pep files did you use?

Oh and its looking like I might have some serious access time to a CNC router, so if anyone can toss me a couple completed 3d files, I'd make it worth your while.

id really like those files, but it keeps telling me i have and invalid session set and wont let me download it.

Whose pep are you guys using for this? I downloaded callmemillos pep of the full suit and when I try to print off I get "The size of paper specified by Pepekura designer is not the same as Printer setting. Adjust scale?" When i adjust it it looks like it shrinks it down a fair bit, and when I dont pieces run off the page. My printer is set up for regular letter sized paper so im not quite sure what to do. Any suggestions?
