harsh tactics (jacking the 13yo account that is). Whether or not it was effective... we'll see.
He's got enough info on the kid though, probably could track his location down easy enough and leave a nice little letter with a copyof the convo and the new password for the parents.
In the end, the kid needed to be taught that what he was doing was wrong, and as such can have serious consequences.
Probably lucky he wasnt caught by someone more malicious.

First of all, why is EVERYONE assuming dungbeetle did this? He could have got it off another website, it could have been going around, whatever. So stop criticizing him when he may just be sharing this! IT could have been a failblog thing. who knows.
Second: it is true that 2 rights don't make a wrong, and that's fact. But the kid was attempting to steal an account, and that does not make him a great guy. The other guy that DID steal the account was acting in self-defense of sorts, but fully taking the account may not have been the best thing to do. And it DID do the kid a favor, I'm sure he'll never try that again...

*Two wrongs don't make a right.
My point of view is, just give the kid his account back, and that's that. He got his lesson.
