Today...about 30 or so minutes before the Philedelphia Phillies' game against the Nationals...long time announcer known to many MLB fans and every Phillies fan for decades as the "Voice of the Phillies" was found dead in the broadcast booth. He was 73.

I grew up listening to this man. He was and always will be the best.

i just found out today, i was gonna make a thread about this, but you beat me.


he was a great man, the phillies will never be the same. RIP Harry...
 
This is going to change the way Phillies games will sound, I had heard about it right after it had been announced.
 
Aww man... It's outta here is gone... :cry: man this really makes me down. I loved that statement.


I really think this is going to make me watch more baseball.
