if anyone wants to know what in the hell i'm doing.. that's not bondo. Its Called Dryloc. Its used in Masonry. Basically I'm coating the outside of the armor in it. Its cool stuff, it dries like cement, but is flexible and waterproof, i'm doing 2 coats of it. No mixing, just put it on with a Popsicle stick or something smooth and flat. just takes a good 5 hours to completely dry. then you can recoat it. :)

cool stuff. As for the dryloc I've never heard of it. If you don't mind me asking where did you buy that
stuff and how much did it cost to purchase?

You should be able to get it at any hardware store, Like Homedepot.. Its called UGL Dryloc. Its basically a latex based waterproof paint.. and its not cheap :/ its like ~50$ a gallon, we had to redo some of the walls in my basement after a recent flood, and we had an extra container.. so i took it! hahha. If you can get some cheap, its cool stuff, with the aluminum and the Dryloc, the armor is already sturdy and i havnt even fiberglassed it yet! The dryloc takes a good day to completely harden, but only like 3 hours to dry to touch. I put on two coats so far, gona fiberglass and bondo today, then hopefully paint and detail it. :D

looks good! i was about to go get some untill i found out it's $50 a gallon.. just spent my last $200 on foam, plastic buckels, nylon strapping and two nerf recons. one for my sis at chrissy, she really wants one, and the other for me. i'm just getting the feel of it (aka playing, they're sooo much fun for some reason :p) before i rip it up and turn it into a sniper's rifle. good luck with everything else and merry christmas :) HOHOHO WORTWORTWORT!

oops forgot to ask, what suit are you making? those looked like odst shoulders before but spartans can wear those, so i was wondering what it is that you're making :p

ppps: how easy is that stuff to sand? is it good like bondo, or bad like hotglue?

Im making a mix, My guy on Reach's armor :p

Juns Helmet
normal body,Cod, and shins
ODST shoulders
Mk VI Thigh and handplates :p

Its all mixed up, and the dryloc is almost impossible to sand! it dries like cement :) I use it primarily as a filler and helps keep shape while i work on it, you can easily paint it on with a brush, no mixing.

I just started it today, ill be working on it as I do my armor :)

I started but had to stop. my dad got rushed to the hospital for pulmonary embolisms and a partially collapsed lung. so no web site right now.. I will put up some more W.I.P eventually, im half way done with my Jun Helmet.

Its alright, hes out of the hospital. everything is well. And im almost done Pap'ing my Helmet, christmas has been interfering with my progress.. damn you santa.
