Weapon problem

So creeping around the forum it seems like the best way to make the weapons sturdy is with expanding foam. The issue for me is the method I'm using to get the free floating effect in my mjolnir armor is magnets in the thigh and back, and pieces of steel in the weapons. Now I need to figure out a way to make the weapon sturdy snout as to were I can cut it in half without it warping.

Any ideas?...

Glue the steel pieces to the inside of the weapon, then fill the remainder with expanding foam?

i would advise you not to use expanding foam (you can blow up your pep peice) if i were you i would resin it cut it inhalf then paint some rondo around inside

You could make a "sliced" version of the gun out of plastic. That is how I make most of mine. You can buy plastic sheets in whatever thickness you need. To use the magnets well, I would suggest that on the outer layer of plastic make a cut out for the steel to fit inside. If done right the steel should be flush with the outside of the gun.

No also its liquid so that would be pretty hard, and it would be all........... drippy.
