What To Do Once You Have A Gun Pepped?

Um.. im kanda new at this and i realize that older members have said not to just start new topics but ive been looking for this info for like two days now. lol. but what do you do with a pepped weapon up? do you just resin it like a peice of armor?

Yea just 2-3 coats of resin should make it hard enough. You dont really want to use fiberglasss on the outside because that would be murder trying to shape up later

Is a few coats of resin really going to be strong enough? I'm only asking because of a gun I'm making for my Space Marine suit that's 955mm long. I've been trying to work out how to go about making it rigid. If I just resin, that'd be super easy.

Oh thanks alot guys! im using Achilles tutorial on smoothcasting armor with urethane resin. but i wasnt quite sure what to with the weapons.but now i do! lol. i could probably get that resin at like a home depot or something right?
