so whats everyone's PC specs?

my desktop i built:
core 2 quad Q6600
512mb 8800GT OC edition (inno3d)
XFX 680i LT motherboard
2GB 800mhz reaper ram
500gb SATA HDD

My laptop:
dell XPS M1710
core2 2.0ghz
256mb 7900gs GPU
2.5gb 667mhz ram
100gb 7200rpm HDD

My gaming PC which all I use for cnc3 now has

amd athlon x2 5000+
4 gigs of ddr2 ram
250gig HDD
2 nvidia 7600GT 512mb's (sli'd for 1gig of video ram)
MSI pro TV tuner
17 inch 1080p capable samsung lcd.

It runs cnc3 with full graphic settings at 100+fps. Plus, it will play video at 1080p with 0 lag.

Pentium 4 (Prescott) 3.2 GHz
1 Gb DDR3200
Nvidea GeForce 7900 GS 256 Mb
250 Gb Seagate SATA Harddrive
Asus P5GPL-X motherboard socket 775

Seriously needs some better RAM and new CPU, preferably a Dual core. But I don't think my (gf's) computer can take anything that's DDR2. I'm pretty sure my video card can run most new games fairly easy, and I can SLI it, but I only have one PCI-e slot.

My computer home:
Pentium 4 (Willamette) 1.4 GHz OC'd to 1.89 GHz
768 Mb SDRAM PC133
Nvidea GeForce 5500FX 256 Mb
40 Gb Maxtor Harddrive (IDE)
MSI motherboard socket 423 (Can't remember the exact model number)

My current computer (my parents computer):
Intel celeron D
256mb RAM
Onboard Video and Sound
.... You get the idea. It's a piece of crap.

The computer I'm getting ready to build:
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz
4GB DDR2 800
Nvidea GeForce 8800GT 512mb
150GB Raptor HDD
....

I'll eventually upgrade to 8GB RAM, and another Raptor HDD (and two monitors).

But doesn't Windows (I'm assuming you're running on windows) only support up to 4 Gbs?

I want to upgrade it 4GB of RAM just lack of money (if you dont buy form apple it like $150 for two 2GB chips)

Upgrading my Hard Drive to the 320GB

and about the supporting up to 4 Gbs?

this is a sold explanation

2^32 = 4,294,967,296 bits of data a 32-bit system can support
2^64 = 1.84467441 × 10^19 bits of data a 64_bit system can support

this is to my understanding of operating systems. That's why in 32-bit systems, you might not see all 4GB being utilized.

Win VISTA Ultimate 64bit

INTEL Core2Duo E6750
Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R
4x 1024 MB Corsair (PC2-6400)
nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS 512
Creative XFi Extreme Gamer

Logitech G15 Refresh Keyboard
Microsoft Sidewinder Mouse

I use windows, but I am going to be using the 64-bit version. I'm going to use Windows XP (Vista sucks IMO), but I'll eventually have Vista on another partition. I'm going to attempt the "XP/Vista/OS X/Linux" thing eventually, but I'm starting with XP.
