YURI: That glove you made is AMAZING! it will probably take a little longer for me to unfold though cause of all the creases. I will still work on it but i am going to put it on the back burner and work on it when i am in between files. Very nice work and i will see what i can do to get the file done.

So i got the Bicep done from the Nu Gundam for those who want it...i will tackle the front hip plates next from this gundam but for now i am just getting the easy stuff first.

So for anyone coming in and just seeing this, if you do download one of the files i have unfolded please make sure you size it to your body! i sized it to a rough estimate of what it should be ON ME...not on you!

Like a Zeonography High Mobility Zaku Set,subject delta,and last but not least Zeonography High Mobility zeta set.My problem is im not good with pepkura. So if any on wants to help or knowswho will make those kind of files i would love you to send them my way. Also My pepkura viewer wont let me look at obj just pdf's any oneknow how i can make this work?

Welcome to the 405th!

First off let me handle your technical dilemma:
Pepakura Viewer cannot open .obj files. Only Pepakura Designer can. Pepakura Viewer opens .pdo files.

I would strongly recommend downloading the Designer as well as having the Viewer as you will need both. The Designer is used to scale the pieces to your size and some other neat little things. The Designer is free but you cannot save anything you do as far as changes unless you buy the password from the website for $38 (there is one other thing you cannot do without the password but i forgot), honestly unless your going to be unfolding files in Pepakura you don't really need the password.

As for the modeling portion i cannot help you there. rensole may be able to but he is currently super busy with law school to be doing modeling at the moment. I would say put in a request in the 3D modeling forum for this and see if anyone is up for the job. If you get someone to model it i am more than willing to unfold it for you.

If you are having trouble following any of the jargon i just used then please read as much of the stickies in the noob forum and other areas before continuing.

Can someone go through the files for the Alex and see if any of them were auto unfolded? the ones that were auto unfolded should be the only ones we need to redo to make it nice and neat.

I am talking about your files YURI...the ones for the Alex Gundam. we have done some of them but from what i saw half of them were unfolded with the auto button and they don't really unfold nicely when you use that option.

I am currently working on the head for the Alex Gundam. I should have it done by tonight and then i will let you know what my next project is.

I am currently not doing any of the RX-93 Nu Gundam files just yet as they need to be altered a tad bit and my friend Sniperbaas is working on them but he has had some set backs. I will let you know more as i know it.

For anyone unfolding these files, i will be starting with the first file from the top of the list above and will post the finished product as soon as i am done...then i will move down the list one by one. I suggest if anyone is working on these as well that they start from the bottom of the list and state they are going to do so in this thread.

When all files are done being unfolded myself, YURI, or ein will make a folder containing all up to date files so people can just download the full pack of the whole suit without worry of files not being unfolded.

Ok heres a new item to add to that list. I finally got a version of the shield I found close enough to be happy with posting, Its not perfect by any means but its hard to find good blueprints and stuff for it since it wasnt in the anime, which is also why I didnt care if it was absolutly perfect. Now off to finish up those parts you wanted shadow after that im going to try and work on the gun they give with the model as well lucky for me that its very close to the famas gun so I will have plenty of stuff to go off of.

Nice work on the shield ein385! The only thing i am seeing is that when you made it and saved it, you made the top of the model the side. So when it appears in Pepakura your height is from side to side not from top to bottom of the shield. If you want to change it before i start unfolding it let me know otherwise ill get started on the shield.

Sorry for the double post but ein can you clean up your triangles in the model and make them more blocked? if anyone makes it from pep and sized to a body the pieces will be way too big for the paper unless you block it up more so i can break it up.
