I used rondo on the inside (a mix of resin and body filler) I find it easier to work with for peps... I find peps annoying :p

Now! back to the point... I haven't done the didacts helmet yet (the one with the spike on top) but I'll start soonish, now what I was looking for is molding tips for that helmet, to be honest I'm not sure which would be the best way to mold that helmet... any help is appreciated :D

personally i'd go with the mark VI. based on how far you've gotten with the helmets, the somewhat tougher mark VI would be a good match. plus the mark v from reach looks very small and doesn't cover much, so you'd have to devote a lot of time to an underskin. the mark VI is a bit bigger and covers a larger area which makes it easier when making the rest of the armor. plus the detailing on the mark 6 is easier. mark 5 theres some bits and pieces that are hard to include in detailing the armor

sorry its been so long guys! I was dragged off to new zealand by a friend... and when I got back the other day I found that most of what I had sculpted had semi melted in the heat from the room getting sunlight... so I couldn't be bothered fixing it all coz I had most of the torso done.
So, the plan is, to first make an N7 armour set from mass effect 2, this is currently in design and test stages, just doing lots of mini experiments with separate rubber urethanes and silicones to get a good flexible armour. And praise to the lord! I finally got my bust! so I can make a mould of that and make a few more, so I can have a few helmets going at the same time, these will be N7 helmet, Didact helmet and I was thinking of a blue suns merc helmet from mass effect... Give me your opinion guys :)

the one on the right is vytaflex and the one on the left is rebound 25, these aren't meant to be high detail or anything, just small pieces for testing methods.
god my work space needs some cleaning :p
