Cayokes H2 ODST finished Failuer

Well first off i would like to thank Wizardoffliht and Xtreme Tactics 101 For the blue prints they made I used. But further more here are the pictures. I am planning on redoing the silencer but other that that I love it. I am also going to make a second one so if you have any ideas for me please comment. IF YOU FIND IT NESSECARY TO EDIT MY POST CHANGE THE SMG TO LINK AND ALL BUT ONE OF THE FULL ARMOR PHOTOS TO LINKS PLEASE!

None at all epically is ita an old Apple II Printer box. That thing is really hard to cut.

Thats looking great! Cardboard is hard to work with. I remember back when transformers 2 came out and I had to make an entire full body transformer costume out of cardboard for my work

Im not quite done with it and i do kinda agree but the card board is really hard to cut. I have lots of blisters now. I am also going to make Wodden silencers for them.will Find some way to smot the rest out.

Are you using a knife of scissors to cut the cardboard? If your using a knife, for god sakes, get a new blade for it! If your using scissors, stop using them and get a knife.

hPocket knife I cut my self a few times. I need a new one I'v had this one for like 5 years. I dont have a good Xacto Knife.

Yea, get rid of it. Buy an xacto knife for sure! It will really be worth the money.

I personally think Pepakura is all around easier for projects. But what you've done so far shows that you have a good imagination. So keep it up.

well, after having seen you very first work, and now seeing this... for sure some marked improvements in the build quality... haha and even I stay away from cardboard now, when i first made my samurai armour (the stuff i'm wearing in my picture), i first tested the size out by making it out of cardboard.... lol never again, is all i have to say about that... lol



also, not a bad job on the ODST helmet, a LOT cleaner than the busa lol. also, now i'm not sure on this one as i have never made ODST armour, and don't know how it should fit (i'm not even done making my first suit of Mk VI) but that chest piece seem to be a TAD to big for your body/frame.... someone who knows more about this type of armour please correct me if i'm wrong...



and finally the SMG's... nicely done . if you were to detail them with something like bondo, or some other detailing substance, those could look DAMN sexy. though, if you are at all handy with a rotary tool, there was a thread on here a while ago, that talked about modding nerf recon's and turning them into SMG's.... here is a picture:

for the life of me i can't remember who this belongs to... but who ever it is... all props go to him lol.



anyhoo, just an idea/option for you to consider for making SMG's.... it just seems a HELL of a lot easier to mod the nerf guns, than cut out all that cardboard lol (i'm actually going to be using this idea for my SMG's when i finish building the armour)

I like my card board cutting. Also about the body frame thing i kinda agree but i will probably have some thing fairly big under the armor. I will et full head to toe pictures upp soon my brother dosent seem to know what they are. Unfourtantly i for got i have to make a pelvis plate custom. because ther are no pep files For the ODST ones. Im mad also because i burnt my finer badly with the glue gun. Some of the glue melted to my skin like its now a part of my skin.



Off topic- Its hard to get goo scales because Im around 6 feet tall and I weigh 102 pounds.
