To join in with RandomRanger's Reference Packs Index, I've decided to create a list of references for the Combat Evolved Marine, plus the CE assault rifle. Hopefully this will help/inspire some of you to make some CE marines because I'd love to see more!
Honestly, my job is made pretty simple by member Jubal who compiled a HEAP of references on this thread which was made only the year after I started school!
But for when I needed a few extra pictures, here is what I gathered:
Helmet
Neckline
Gauntlets
Backpack
Kidney Belt (As referred to as by Jubal)
Greaves
Assault Rifle
Patterns
While I hand-made every pattern for my marine build (worst cosplay experience ever), a fair bit of it ended up "missing in action" or was modified on the actual build after making the pattern. If there is any part you want a pattern of, let me know and I'll see if I can digitise and share it, but as stated there might be a few which I will have difficulty with. And of course, any questions you have on the armor's construction, I'm happy to answer them!
Combat Evolved Assault Rifle - do note that I scaled this one to "full scale" (or as it says on the Wiki), so it's pretty bloody big compared to it's size in game with marines.
Rifle HUD and Eyepiece is attached below, make sure it's the right dimensions for your rifle/helmet. If you want the .svg file to modify it, let me know.
