Thanks, neighbor! The helmet's a bit too small, though. Making a new one later. I hear Singapore has yet to have Spartans?
Oh we've got 1 spartan and 1 ODST at least that I know of personally - wish there was more though. Let me know next time yr in town, we can catch up or even arrange a trooping.
In the meantime, I'll be watching this build closely, bro. I lurve the custom design - very Reach!
I heard that Singapore's got at least 12 ODSTs (including a female Dutch) - or at least that's the rumour...
Malaysia's got 2 Spartans now, a 3rd and 4th coming up. Possibly an ODST too. I'll definitely let you know if I decide to cross the channel, bro! Likewise if you decide to come over, just drop me a line!

You're quite well informed, bro. There are a bunch of ODSTs in the making - great bunch of guys from the 501st and Movie Mania. Think they're still WIP though. Tim is in a better position to advise on the progress, but any project that he's on is bound to come out fantastic!
Yes, I'm planning on doing a Halo: Reach Spartan myself. Probably a custom after being inspired by what yr doing here and of course playing the game and enjoying the ability to customise yr Noble 6 character.

It'll be great to have a gathering of Spartans and ODSTs from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia one day. There's a guy here who's from Indonesia as well. I'm sure their armor will turn out superb! I've met Reno from MM before. Glad I inspired you to build a custom. If you noticed, I incorporated Mandalorian features on mine (can't help it, being a custom Mando!). Did you read Azriel's back story?
It was relatively easy to pep, but I messed up the scale and it ended up the size of a child's toy! LOL
Maybe I'll reprint it to a larger scale... Thanks so much, dude! It'll make a great base for my DMR.
Here's something that I've been doing these past few days. I printed and/or pepped a bunch of weapons, among which is a DMR (Phoenix/Bollomonk), Reach AR (Rid3r), ACR (Nightshade), SMG (Lionheart) and UNSC combat knife (Carpathia). Here are some pics of the peps
This was my first attempt at the DMR - Diminutive Marksman Rifle!
Second try at the DMR - better scale this time (790mm). Even at this scale, the grip fits my ungloved hand just nicely. Phoenix, if you're reading this, maybe you'd want to consider lengthening the grip just a bit.
A comparison of the two peps. I modded the larger one a bit. Did not pep the barrel and scope because I want to make separate ones for this one.
With the ACR - it's a real-world weapon, but with proper additions, it could be Halo-able. Plan to use this for Azriel. The barrel will be a suppressed model, made from a piece of PVC pipe. It will also have a scope and flashlight, maybe a laser pointer as well. There is a grenade launcher attachment on the actual weapon... *wink*
Oonsk combat knife. I'll put in a bamboo/metal support bar and fill this up with resin later to make it solid. I will custom-make the sheath. The knife has been scaled down to fit my armor. The original's too big for me (looking like a machete).

It's usable, alright! Maybe you'd consider adjusting the grip length? Thanks so much for the file, man! Took me just a few hours to pep, plus the time it took me to join the bits from several different pages together! :d

Thanks, man! Azriel was designed with Jun in mind... I got a thing for snipers and assassins ... LOL. Taking a short break from pepping Halo stuff... My hands and back are strarting to hurt...

did you base some of this off of the assassin's creed costumes?
It was designed with Mandalorians in mind. I love the Mjolnir, but I like to have things hanging off me... Hehehe.... Assassin's Creed could have been an influence, since I've just completed an Altair suit for a friend. Was doing some research into Ezio as well.

Aah... I see... would love to see your Ezio. Just love those crazy details on his belt and pauldron. Was kinds inspired by that look for Azriel.
Thanks! You are referring to the Recon helmet, right? The Mk.VB/Noble 6 was way too small even for me!
