Alright, that's it.
I'm no moderator, and I certainly hold no power in this forum, as has been described to me MANY times by MANY of The Powers That Be, but I'm stepping up here to use my moderating experience in this matter in the hopes that perhaps this little matter can be resolved once and for all without another member lighting up a flame and tossing it in.
SpartanForever is right in his statement: less time whining about the details, more time on actually WORKING on your armor to make it the best it can be. Nobody here yet has set a standard for armor quality, and as one of the people previously making a huge stink about this matter before finally coming to my senses, I'll say this:
Sitting around whining is just going to make you look like an idiot, and it's also going to draw the Moderator's attention to you - trust me, I've received my share of complaints via PM. Furthermore, it's wasting good forum space, and time we could have used to debate just where we draw the line between quality armor and armor that doesn't meet the grade.
In the end, the Moderators have the power, and whether we like it or not, we have to follow those rules because they're put in place for our benefit. So, to quote the Halo book 'The Flood':
"If I say 'crap' I expect you to say 'what color, how much, and where do you want it?' Do you read me?"
What they say, ultimately, GOES. So, if they say 'we're only accepting moulded armor of Adam's quality' you'd better hope you can match that. If we're told they'll accept something a little less, we'll go with that. And in the end, like it or not, you'll have to either adapt, find some way of getting armor from elsewhere, or drop out. No amount of bickering is going to change that, so please. One last time:
Cut the whining and let's get back on track. This topic is about where to draw the line between 'quality' and 'non-grade', so I suggest you start looking at ways to suggest what you would consider for the two.
