Well Im going to do the original master chief helmet (mark 5 I believe)

and I still dont have the full idea of what I'm doing.

1. What is the best mark 5 helmet model I should use?

2. How do I scale it. (also I have a large head soo.. )

3. If i use cardstock, do I still have to worry so much about sagging in the paper?

4. is hot glue ok when putting together the parts?.

5. How the hell do I tell what parts go where on the helmet lol, theres no identification on the 3D model to the paper

thanks guys

1. Flying squiril's is the best halo 3 version, and rundowns is the best halo 1 version
2. in pep go to 2dpattenwindow>sizing or scaling or something like that>adjust in millimeters
3. yes and no ;)
4. yup
5. most models have numbered flaps, if not then there is a button on pep that looks like a cube with one red side, click that and then you can select a piece on the 3d viewer and find where it is on the 2d window

Okay, I really only know 3 4 and 5.
3. It will maintain it's shape a lot better than normal printer paper.
4. Hot glue works, so does white school glue and (my favorite) Mod Podge.
5. Press on set edge ID (its then button that says 123)

Spawn Camp3r beat me to it

Make sure that you read all the stickies in the Pepakura and Cardboard Armor section. All of the above questions have already been answered there so make an effort to read through them. I'm assuming that you have seen the noob orientation video and as stated there, don't expect anyone to hand-hold you throughout the process. In addition, if you don't have the patience to read the stickies all the way through, pepakura may not be for you.

This works better on Pepapuka Designer 2: right-button click anywhere on the model and click on "Check on Corresponding Face" and if you click on the model, the corresponding printed part will shown up in red on the right-hand side.
