Gungnir Helmet / Reach armor WIP (PIC Heavy)

Well I've finished the Helmet so far ( I know I'm supposed to do that last ). I've started working on the chestpiece too but I will post pictures when I have more progress on that done . The helmet is see through on the square front and the two little flaps on the side of the silver part . I used design masters brilliant silver to tint it but am slowly regretting it . It's see through enough to walk around but it's really foggy . I just made this helmet because there was no pep file for the CQC at the time I started this one . I will probably make a cqc when my armor is done . Tip for those who want to make a gungnir .1. vacuum form the visor 2. use nite shades to tint the visor. There was some warping on the helmet let's see if you can find it ...

I can't remember but is this the first complete Gingnir helmet?

Congratulations on your build so far. I would say that you might want to think about putting some of that visor idea you came up with on the sides so you have peripheral vision as well and decrease you chance of injury. Just an idea I'm throwing out there.

yes i believe this is the first gungnir build (at least that i know of . ) and also i do have parts cut out for my peripheral vision . its in the silver area on the sides with the lower elevation.

awesome LOL I made the gungnir helmet too but i didnt cut the front part out tho i wired a camera where the camera supposed to be and i have a little screen that display image XD so i can see lol whats size is that helmet? mine looks way larger then urs

This I'd be interested to see. Pics / thread on that build? I suspect many people would like a tut on how to do that.

I havent post anything about it yet since im not fully done just made it this week i still woking on hooking up some led light and add cushion since its a little large but sure i will pm u XD when im done and take pics! imma add u as friend so i dont forget

Good eye sir! You found the warpage . and you're right about my builds getting better so i'm hoping to have an amazing cqc. Anyways here's my player model i was going off of

It's the CQC and mk 5 shoulders and i think that the chest variant is the Hp/Parafoil. The only thing not on here is the cbrn attachments i wanted to make for the gungnir . which is basically the front square parts of an eod helmet.

also i'm not going to use female armor...

This gungnir is nice! you should scrach it a bit more, and then silver wash it, and then black wash it. It will add battle damage and make it look epic!

It's been a few days since I have posted since I couldn't get much done in the weather we've been having. Anyway small update I have made detachable attachments for my helmet . The CBRN attachment . I just freehanded this one , and made it stay on the helmet using some wire and holes I poked into the sides. I'm gonna do this for all my attachments since it worked pretty well,

Yeah I suppose I should since ithat is part of the full cbrn attachment . The light on this helmet is flat lik a pancake Which might prove a little more difficult to make . But I should probably try to focus more. On the armor right now .

WOW that looks cool . I couldnt of come up with the idea for the visor.. I probly wouldof got a visor that is the same color of the front of the helmet and add some sort of detail to make it disapear
