From what I recall......someone said the closest color is Oregano. Give that one a try.

Cool man will do. Justin from stoney props gave me some pointers on paint mixtures and colors. I don't have it quite right yet but heading in the right direction for sure. Playing with the metallic paints he recommended is really fun. Buy yes... I need to get back to business and start the shins, the files are mostly ready just need to print templates this evening. Thanks guys!

I have to go back to the beginning of your thread and catch up.......but your suit is like Parkay Margarine....I can't believe its "foam".....
Thanks man that really means alot! I know this will sound silly.. but my goal is to make this suit look as real as possible to a point where people or kids may think it's real for a split second. When ever I see pictures of Justin branfuhr's suit, that's how his looks. Straight out of the game almost.

The best way to make perfect recessed holes in foam.. piece of copper tubing chamfered on the inside edge to make it sharp..

So you guys are gonna laugh.. but ever since my whole suit came together (mostly) I really was starting to not like my original pretzel bicep-shoulder pieces, they were just to basic and did not capture detail i wanted.. So after lots of editing of some high def pep files to foam... here is my new shoulder-bicep piece!! This may have just become one of my new favorite pieces. That tricep was tricky! So worth the redo. Enjoy!!

Dang! You put all of us to shame! Makes me wonder how long you have been doing this, because it looks like you've got a good amount of time spent doing this. Awesome work!
Thanks man! I started this build in October. I'm just a super perfectionist and Im good at working with my hands. Turns out i really love this eva foam building hobby. I've always loved the games so I figured I owed chief an awesome real life suit build!

Sorry for the few days of absence, been crazy busy at work... but I was able to get busy today! Finished the first shin and it's perfect! Fits well, and straight out of the game. Still have to finish small detail and pad/strap it, but for now, enjoy. Full suit wearing pics soon to follow, I still haven't shown you guys the new and improved bicep/shoulder pieces either.. stay tuned

So other than the forearms, literally none of the outter extremity pieces are padded or strapped, so not everything is sitting perfect yet but these will give you all an idea of how it's looking! Yeah don't mind the towels shoved in the calve.. i was trying not to mobe to much so everything would stay in place. haha
