Thanks man! I'm slowly working through the paint job on this new torso, made lots of good progress on that this weekend. Hoping to have completed pics posted in the next couple of weeks. My deadline is april 1st as I plan on attending the Philly PA Con. The gloves are a pair I picked up off Amazon, I'd have to find the name on them, been a while since I ordered them.

Well guys I've been slowly working through the paint job on this torso here and there. I've been pretty busy lately so I only really get to piant once or twice a week. I'm at a point where I'm ready to start all my metallic scratch work and then finish painting the BR. I'm not under any deadlines now... so, I've got time! Haha sorry, some of my lighting in these pics is terrible an really throws off how it looks in person, first 3 pics show the color pretty well.

Thanks man that really means alot! I've been off and on with suit work lately..been balancing alot of different things just keeping me busy. I'm still quietly hoping to be suited back up by April with the new torso and BR completed.. we'll see! Appreciate the support as always!

So I'm rescuing my thread from the depths... sorry guys, been real busy lately, but as you've probably seen on my Instagram, I have still been working suit! Got the torso paint job and lights pretty much all wrapped up this past weekend. Still have to finish putting the leds in the chest before the suit up, but for now here it is!

I never knew chiefs torso had the oval details on the sides! Why didn't I look at this thread ages ago I just love the amount of effort you put into it to remaking the torso again, that Im excited to see the next suit up and can't wait!

Thank you so much for the support. So those are the underarm undersuit seals. That detail is my version as the game it's very hard to make out. However the halo 3 statue at 343i does depict that detail in a similar way that I did (however that statue is not very game accurate at all). Also, some of the older McFarland toys also depict the undersuit detail similar to how i did. I did use my own artistic imagination on that as I've seen similar patterns on versions of halo armor through out. But in halo 3, the actually game character textures just depict it as a textured rubber like material with a couple of seam lines. Also some halo 3 MC graphic renders also sort of show the detail as well, I'll attach a pic. So what you see on mine is those same seam lines plus details from statues and actions figures but made it my own. At the end of the day, it adds super cool depth that makes it look more realistic than cosplay.

Thank you!! So much has gone into getting this suit to where it is today..the paint job took many many long months to figure out it almost made me loose my mind!! Haha

Ok guys, the moment I've been waiting for.. lights and wiring are finished which makes this torso done!! Alot of thought went into the wiring to keep it clean and also power all the lights on the upper body from the same source at once. I'm really happy with how the glow of the shield emitters (lights) turned out, very game accurate especially the way they cast light compared to how they look in the game. I also added more mudd to my boots which makes them look much more realistic than before.
