Love the little details in your build. Marine builds are underrated imo.

That is some clean foam work man! Did you make the assault rifle or was it bought? It looks amazing!
Thanking you!
The assault rifle was a gel blaster that we gutted and painted, cannot tell you where we got it from tho

After some time and finishing my mk7 spartan I’ve really been wanting to put more time into my marine!
It’s not accurate enough for me and I’m wanting some changes!

Been looking online and the closest camo I could find was this one named A-TACS AU.

As well as my gloves not being the right colour has definitely been bothering me, so I’ve found a nice set of black fingerless gloves.

I have also been trying to find a black vest that has little detail on it to help cover my abdomen but it has been such a hassle to find something that’s not so damn expensive haha.

I will be rebuilding my boot covers as they were way too soft and flimsy, having torn several times and truely just needing to be remade.
Needing to make my elbow guards as well.

Will def been keeping this feed updated with progress!

Made some progress, bought my BDU and now just waiting for it to arrive.

I've started my new boot covers, as the previous ones were... not it.
Having used two pieces of 5mm foam for the top half, I've cut the shape and glued the two pieces together using a paint tin to give it a curve. That way, when the adhesive dried, it kept its curved shape.

Then from there I made the rest of the pieces out of 10mm foam, and honestly it is so much more sturdy and holds a real nice natural shape even around the boot.

Then I used the rounded sanding tool on my Dremel to imitate the bolt hole thingies. All I have to do is attach the strapping and paint the pieces! I'm going to work on my elbows next and paint everything together.
