I was taking a break from my homework and decided to catch up on the fanfics of the source, as I haven't been reading them. Shh...don't tell their authors, lol. Then I saw that on the front page. Anybody know what's going on?

1) Sierra is an AI, probably created as a form of viral marketing for... something, I don't know. Maybe a fanfic, maybe something else.

2) Somebody's messing with us.

my guess is its in the fan fic section so... its a prequel to a fan fic on an ai or something close to cortana letters... but in otherwords it still a fan fic. nothing realy huge as i see it.





edit: wait its across the whole 405th home page. publicity stunt from the source team. nothing new i can see other than they may be trying to advertise one thing or its something that they want to release bungie style like the error messages from the superintendant when osdt/recon was announced.

I agree with the number 1 on that, I think that the Sierra character might be a AI it could also be a member since it was approved by The Source and it could be doing something later only time will tell.

i would have to agree that its probably for a fan fic. i dont think bungie would use Sierra as a AI name, because its the designation for the spartans. Bungie usually uses names that have a meaning from some sort of mythology that shears some characteristics with the AI.

Well, now it lists it as Veteran status with 1 post. Ironically it chose male as it's gender. I'm surprised that wasn't N/A. And yes, it fixed it's SYNAX error. So at least it's self-correcting; so score one for the 'Intelligence' part.
