Why I'm here: I was always very interested in movie special effect especially make up and costumes in sci fi and horror films (American Werewolf in London, Star Wars, etc). I would also buy magazines like Fangoria and at one point seriously considering pursuing a career in the field.

Recently my son attended an MDA fundraiser which showcased several characters including several Master Chiefs. We were both in awe as the costumes were incredible and my son declared that he was going to b e the Master Chief for Halloween. I spoke to one of the guys on the side who suggested if I was interested in making one check you guys out, so here I am.

This is going to be our first go at it so I'm keeping my expectations realistic, especially considering the time constraints, but we are motivated and I personally looking forward to some son and dad time.
