I have a question too, I've been asking a lot of people this, so I know pepakura has more detail and of course takes longer, I already have a couple pieces of armor made out of it, but which is more durable, Foam or Pepakura/paper-fiber glass? To be honest I'll take any tips, any so PLEASE feel free to give me some.

I've done EVA foam building before, making Skyrim armor (not finishing it tho lol), so I'm excited to start learning and building when I have the chance (and money)!

Wow, how did I not know about this site before!!?? So, a little about myself: I'm 51 yrs old, but I still act like a 20 yr old, so it averages out pretty well. I'm currently a division director for a remediation company and travel the globe cleaning up radioactive and toxic sites. As a hobby, I've been building functional medieval armour and weapons for 29 years. (Forged in Fire champion back in 2018) I've also been an amateur gunbuilder for 20 years. Add to that a love of science fiction and HALO, and you see where this is going. I also used to work as a machinist for a NASA contractor. I've recently started making some HALO armor and firearms for myself and my boys, working mostly in aluminum sheetmetal for the armor. Looks like i fond the right place to learn and share. I'm awful at the game, but I still love it....and I make cool stuff!
