Backround: Im a US Navy Vet and just got out after 5 years, almost exactly a year ago. I had two very different jobs while i was in and visited alot of countries.The coolest place was Sicily,Italy where i made alot of friends and still keep in touch with them. I also made a ton of friends in the service and have even went to hangout with a few of them at there homes here in the states. Michigan is by far the coolest place(state-wise) i have visited yet.As far as armor, i haven't started anything yet and don't plan on it until around jan-feb of next year. The main reason is i have been out of the military for pretty much a year, so my funds are kinda streched as is and i need to make some income before i start. Im pretty interested in starting a project, but im starting slow and trying to gather as much info on all the stages, supplies and tips i can right now. As the G.I. Joe motto goes, "knowing is half the battle". So since i metioned the tuts, i just wanted to thank all you guys who put them out, or even just posted links for them because they were very helpful. Yeah, well thats about it for me. i'm looking forward to getting to know you guys, later 405th.

Backround: Well I have a pretty full schedule, you wouldn't think an RV dealership would take up a lot of time but its a full time job so I dont have a whole lot of time for building but im going to do my best and I ask the moderators to be patient with me. Im very interested in making some ODST armour, I like the Cheif but my heros are the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (Feet First!!!!) My ultimate goal is to make a fully functional Halo 3 ODST helm. Meaning it has a polarized face plate, nice inside padding, fully functional COM system integrated into helm, and full hardness so it can take a beating from bb's and paintballs with out breaking down on me. Also looking at making an airsoft replica of the Assault Rifle.
