hi all im completley new to the site. proud to be here tho.

my names Greg Whiteside



I decided to build a halo armor for use in my fav hobbie airsofting. im using the pep method which i have to say is genius (all those who came up with it a blessing on ur house dear friends mauzaultoff). im an advanced electronics and mechanical craftsmen ( i tinker with crap until it does something cool)i plan to add lights environmental controls and latches to lock the armor to my body and oh did i mention im building it out of sheet steel i will try and keep updates on how i go but the build wont begin till i scale the armor to fit my pudgy ass. oh and im also a big firefly fan and so im converting an ak47 airsoft rifle into vera (if u know what that means ur just as nuts aas i am muhahahahahaha) oh and pleasure to meet u all. the melding of 2 great worlds.

Favorite Movie(s): Terminator (2), Kill Bill (Vol 1 and 2), Death to Smoochy, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Pirates of the Caribbean, District 9...actually, you know what? I kind of love movies all around. I love any movie with heart in it.

Other: I'm hoping to start work on some ODST armor when I get a better job, which will hopefully be soon. Also, I kind of thought Halo 3 was a huge let down. I have no idea if I'm alone in that opinion on this site, but there it is. I still think the Halo Universe is really cool overall as I have read all the books and own most of them, and keep up with the latest comic series.

This armor making is new to me. I was influenced to make one because i saw one the members here post videos in youtube
